Dre Annie Sauvageau

Veterinarian

Description

Dr. Sauvageau has a somewhat atypical but rewarding background. She completed a bachelor's degree in teaching English as a second language and then taught for nearly 6 years in high schools in Montreal and at university in South Korea. Passionate about animal welfare, she decided to return to school to fully live her passion.

Dr. Sauvageau graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Montreal in St-Hyacinthe in 2017, where she became deeply involved in shelter medicine. She then completed an advanced internship in applied veterinary sciences (IPSAV) also in St-Hyacinthe in 2018. Since graduating, she has worked in the emergency room and general medicine at the Centre Vétérinaire Rive-Sud. She then joined the Pointe team almost 3 years ago and loves the neighborhood clientele and the bond of trust that is developed there, while using her experience in a referral center. She continues to be involved with various shelters and organizations and shares her daily life with 2 cats rescued from the street, Nebraska and Danny.

Dr. Sauvageau uses her varied experience to best meet your needs and help your precious animals.
